As I was getting ready this morning, I set up Sesame Street for Drew to watch for a few minutes. I walked out of the bathroom to check on him, when at the same time he walked into our bedroom. He looked at me with one hand on his hip, the other one out in the air and his head tilted to one side and said, "a piece of pizza!" I've learned this actually means he wants to draw - I had promised him he could draw this morning and he was gently reminding me.
"A piece of pizza" actually translates to "A piece of paper. Oh yeah, and don't forget my favorite pen. And please set me up in my high chair, so I don't draw all over the couch and walls. Thanks, Mom! You're the best!"
He's so positive, huh?
